Founders Shane & Shawn Ward have over 25 years of combined entrepreneur experience and are co-founders of the SHANE&SHAWN brand in 2003. The twins have been featured in numerous television, radio, newspaper and magazines including Access Hollywood, Donny Deutsch, The Wendy Williams Show, The Tyra Banks Show, MTV’s Made, People Magazine & Oprah’s acclaimed 'O' Magazine. Celebrity fans include Fergie, Green Day, David Beckham, John Legend, Good Charlotte, Jamie Foxx, Bijou Phillips and many more.

Shawn Ward
Shawn attended The University of Michigan on a four-year academic scholarship, and enjoyed a brief stint on the football team before injuring his knee. Ward graduated at the top of his class, and also became a member of the international fraternity, Omega Psi Phi. Upon graduation, Ward worked at Daimler Chrysler for 5 years, balancing his time with evening classes, leading him to obtain his masters degree.

On a four-year academic scholarship, Shane entered the University of Michigan in fall of 1991, majoring in Industrial Design. After ending his short stint on the football team, to put all focus towards his major, Shane invested the majority of his time sharpening his design skills. Inspired by his family and his upbringing, his ideas and aspirations were endless. With an urge to get hands on experience in the industry, Shane quickly landed intern positions at Steelcase and General Motors before eventually accepting a full-time job as a shoe designer at ADIDAS in Portland, OR.
